The ...ASGARD... fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Dominte should have stopped the shot. When Cris Ronaldo got free in front of the goal in the 17th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mihail Dominte was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vinicio Junior's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Mihail Dominte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zé Paulo de Queiroz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, ...ASGARD... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Cândreanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Lucrețiu Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Felipe Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ...ASGARD...'s Lucrețiu Siclovan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Cândreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Cândreanu in the 46th minute of the match.

After a defensive mix-up in ...ASGARD...'s zone, Vinicio Junior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihail Dominte came out of the goal and Vinicio Junior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute Narcis Cândreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Bruninho Silva replaced Felipe Queiroz. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Maicon Baiano got a free kick in the 70th minute. Narcis Cândreanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. ...ASGARD...'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the ...ASGARD... players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TAQUARI FC.
