Alberto Berardini hit a great ball. Maciej Kopacz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ignacy Wojtkiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Guerriero in the 23rd minute. If Demetrio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Atletico Benevento's Alfonso Donato got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Matela in the 34th minute of play forced Atletico Benevento's goalkeeper Antonello Doris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GKS Milenium's Ignacy Wojtkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Milenium from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Atletico Benevento's Bianco Cusumano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bianco Cusumano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atletico Benevento protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bianco Cusumano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marek Matela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of GKS Milenium booed when Atletico Benevento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Guerriero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demetrio Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacy Wojtkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Romano in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Romano in the 87th minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Ignacy Wojtkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonello Doris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Wyrostek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Maciej Kopacz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Milenium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Benevento the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, GKS Milenium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Kopacz to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Benevento were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GKS Milenium for a fine match.
