Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Elias Argoitz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Carel Woudenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Matro having to interfere. Dave Otten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Argoitz in the 4th minute of play. Hans Kuypers kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Boudewijn van Galen managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters rose to their feet, but Boudewijn van Galen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Matro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carel Woudenberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Luke in the 19th minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Dave Otten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Otten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Bautista in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Gustavo Bautista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Otten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute Ildefonso Balesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Otten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Argoitz took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Otten. Dave Otten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 35 minutes, Carel Woudenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Ontembare Leeuwen and the Estudiantes de América players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carel Woudenberg hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Ricardo Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carel Woudenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Ildefonso Balesio made a precise shot to the right of Dave Otten. De Ontembare Leeuwen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The De Ontembare Leeuwen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estudiantes de América were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Carel Woudenberg made the kick off in the second half. Dave Otten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Ospetsu. In the 56th match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfred Tollenaar to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Ezequiel Luke sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and De Ontembare Leeuwen's Dave Otten didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Boudewijn van Galen got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Ezequiel Luke could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Dave Otten however easily saved by the left post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Dave Otten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estudiantes de América's Lino Ekialde was substituted for Ildefonso Balesio. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Adrian Ospetsu hit a great ball. Ezequiel Luke's late challenge caught a De Ontembare Leeuwen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Luke helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Ezequiel Luke got a free kick in the 84th minute. Estudiantes de América's Javier Markel was substituted for Melchor Evarado. After 84 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Luke. Dave Otten was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Gustavo Bautista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo Bautista really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Dave Otten made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lino Ekialde sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estudiantes de América eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
