Spectators: 7717 (Terracing: 5789, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) The Club Deportivo Polonia fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Club Deportivo Polonia's Bermudo Calvo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Váldson de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Bermudo Calvo sent off a good shot on target. Andrei Fuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Trancoso in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Club Deportivo Polonia's Walme Alvarez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Walme Alvarez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Deportivo Polonia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Walme Alvarez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Club Deportivo Polonia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palmeiras:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Palmeiras. Luís Sabóia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andrei Fuentes. 1-1. Luís Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Club Deportivo Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Anton Quintanilla. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Perivaldo Maciel hit a great ball. Hélio Guimarães took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrei Fuentes. Andrei Fuentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Club Deportivo Polonia made a substitution. Feliberto Climent replaced Adolfo Romero. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. Váldson de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abad Teruel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Maciel. Perivaldo Maciel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Abad Teruel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 76 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Trigo. Váldson de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abad Teruel in the 78th minute of the match. Club Deportivo Polonia made a substitution. Auderico Costa replaced Bermudo Calvo. Club Deportivo Polonia's attentive Leal Buenafuente managed to snatch the ball when Luís Sabóia made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Váldson de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leal Buenafuente went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Abad Teruel kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Club Deportivo Polonia were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Palmeiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliberto Climent took the corner. The corner ended in Feliberto Climent almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Palmeiras's Váldson de Queirós did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Deportivo Polonia had won after a very even match.
