Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5776, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blas Telesforo kicked off to start the match. Javier Milei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriel Chadwick in the 6th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Nibiru X got a freekick which was hit by Ruesga Varas. Javier Milei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Soler, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Hilario Van Schowen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Ramon in the 14th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Club El Progreso's Rubén Ramon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilario Van Schowen. Hilario Van Schowen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Club El Progreso's Rubén Ramon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hilario Van Schowen. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Rubén Ramon's late challenge caught a Nibiru X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubén Ramon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Rubén Ramon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nicodemo De la Maza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rubén Ramon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. Nicodemo De la Maza scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Milei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Soler in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Milei saved Club El Progreso from getting behind. The supporters of Nibiru X booed when Club El Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Salomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Soler in the 31st minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Javier Milei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Adriel Chadwick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Javier Milei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nibiru X's Nicodemo De la Maza got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club El Progreso's Fabricio Ondino got a free kick in the 37th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

56 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Gomesano came free, but Hilario Van Schowen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Milei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Soler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If José Carlos Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Nicodemo De la Maza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nibiru X's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodemo De la Maza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Milei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xabier Gac was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Adriel Chadwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Héctor David Albertz during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
