A collision led to Hvam FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Timo Børløs hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, Parfrente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Branco to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Curt Struborg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felippe Velasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kurd Klarby hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Madureira came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Per Hornung could save by the left post. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Parfrente FC! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Hvam FC. Curt Struborg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felippe Velasco. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Murilo Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parfrente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Hornung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Bob Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felippe Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Habakkuk Asprilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hvam FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 40 minutes into the match, Habakkuk Asprilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felippe Velasco. Parfrente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Habakkuk Asprilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Habakkuk Asprilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Felippe Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Habakkuk Asprilla came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Hvam FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Habakkuk Asprilla couldn't finish the play. After the first half Hvam FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Madureira to make the kick off. Felippe Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Habakkuk Asprilla in the 51st minute. A collision led to Parfrente FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ramón Branco hit a great ball. Hvam FC's Curt Struborg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Pedro Paulo Madureira put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Per Hornung. Ramón Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Pedro Paulo Madureira notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Hvam FC's Per Hornung. Per Hornung was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Curt Struborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hvam FC booed when Parfrente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Hornung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Madureira in the 73rd minute of the match. Enio Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Murilo Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Hornung having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Alcântara in the 83rd minute of play forced Hvam FC's goalkeeper Per Hornung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Hornung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Murilo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Hornung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Murilo Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Per Hornung was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Parfrente FC booed when Hvam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habakkuk Asprilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Hvam FC defense, Zé Carlos Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per Hornung. The Hvam FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per Hornung should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
