Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Adam Ghimiș made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Champions Iasi's zone, Ivan Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristinel Alexe came out of the goal and Ivan Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Fagundes hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's Adam Ghimiș broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delfim Quadros got free with Cristinel Alexe in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Marin Petruescu. In the 26th minute Guilherme Caldas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Alexe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Aurelian Iosif got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Guilherme Caldas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristinel Alexe. Guilherme Caldas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altino Mourinho got free with Cristinel Alexe in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristinel Alexe was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Guilherme Caldas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guilherme Caldas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Champions Iasi from getting a goal against them. Esquadrão Lusitano's Albertino Lobato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Petruescu in the 43rd minute of play. Albertino Lobato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Petruescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilherme Caldas made a kick off. Adam Ghimiș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertino Lobato having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Marin Petruescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristinel Alexe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altino Mourinho in the 66th minute of the match. When Ivan Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquadrão Lusitano's protests and gave Ivan Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Olavo Vilaça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Petruescu in the 73rd minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Albertino Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altino Mourinho in the 75th minute of play. Leontin Hâldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Champions Iasi's Marin Petruescu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristinel Alexe came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esquadrão Lusitano's Altino Mourinho. But to his dismay, Altino Mourinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Cristinel Alexe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Caldas went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, Altino Mourinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Cristinel Alexe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Esquadrão Lusitano had won after a very even match.
