Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Joakim Månsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, FC Buciumii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Dinescu to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Månsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Ştiubei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Aurelian Ştiubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Månsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of FC Buciumii booed when Gotham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Lundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thor Haström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Silviu Bârsan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Joakim Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gotham City's supporters rose to their feet, but Joakim Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Ştiubei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Buciumii's Aurelian Ştiubei got control of the ball when Alvin Kinnman tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Aurelian Ştiubei managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Gotham City's Alvin Kinnman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute of the match, Alvin Kinnman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aurelian Ştiubei was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gotham City's Bo Thidén was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurelian Ştiubei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 29 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Kinnman. In the 36th minute of the match Gotham City got a corner. FC Buciumii's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bo Thidén ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Gotham City's corner Bo Thidén fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelian Ştiubei quite easily take care of the ball. Thor Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Giubelean in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Hannes Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petru Plopeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goalkeeper Thor Haström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Giubelean. Gotham City's Thor Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Giubelean in the 54th minute of play. If Bo Thidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Plopeanu in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Helge Lundin hit a great ball. Gotham City's Thor Haström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Gotham City from getting a goal against them. When Vlad Petrin fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Buciumii's protests and gave Vlad Petrin a yellow card for diving instead. Vlad Petrin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Wester in the 75th minute of play forced FC Buciumii's goalkeeper Aurelian Ştiubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Buciumii getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Laurențiu Taşcău hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play, Gotham City's Alvin Kinnman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelian Ştiubei was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Hannes Månsson got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Joakim Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Ştiubei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Gotham City's Bo Thidén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelian Ştiubei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Buciumii players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gotham City.
