Spectators: 7755 (Terracing: 5818, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dino Cantagallo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Gladiator FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Di Tullio. Tony Elbornes short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Aurelio Epifani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Franco Cirone scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Handi Ball, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Gladiator FC's Aurelio Epifani got control of the ball when Tony Elborne tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vestegnens Betonhelte's Gabe Gaab slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Epifani. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. 19 minutes into the match, Vestegnens Betonhelte's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Cirone came free, but Handi Ball reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Tony Elborne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Epifani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 26 played minutes Vestegnens Betonhelte got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Bygum. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiator FC's zone, Tony Elborne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Epifani came out of the goal and Tony Elborne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Hornbech's late challenge caught a Gladiator FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Hornbech helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Hornbech didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Elborne made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Vestegnens Betonhelte got a freekick which was hit by Ture Vellis. The supporters of Gladiator FC booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustus Tarpø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gladiator FC made a substitution. Amos Iacomini replaced Fedele Nardi. Augustus Tarpø hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Franco Mariano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Handi Ball. Franco Mariano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After 74 minutes, Olaf Bygum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vestegnens Betonhelte and the Gladiator FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Olaf Bygum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 75 minutes, Dino Cantagallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiator FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Cantagallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Epifani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Elborne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vestegnens Betonhelte were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Gladiator FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicko Gjerum took the corner. The supporters of Vestegnens Betonhelte booed when Gladiator FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tony Elborne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Handi Ball made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Bellomo in the 94th minute of play.
