In the 3rd minute Jari Anzengruber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Maragozis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Stathis Livathinos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dietrich Heppner was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 5th minute, Alwin Korte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Livathinos in the 8th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Dietrich Heppner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Jari Anzengruber got a free kick in the 10th minute. Julius Mulack hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Charis Malezas has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 12th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignatios Kanadopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conny Stober received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Giorgos Maragozis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alwin Korte in the 18th minute of play forced Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Maragozis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Dietrich Heppner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charis Malezas. After 21 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Hartmut Holtzmann. Stathis Livathinos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Dietrich Heppner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 29 in the game by Stathis Livathinos from a close distance when the talented Dietrich Heppner managed to make a qualified save. Academica Pulheim's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Stathis Livathinos put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dietrich Heppner. After a rather tough play, Kerkyra FC's Christos Giannou got a free kick in the 35th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Academica Pulheim's Hartmut Holtzmann tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kerkyra FC's Takis Kanavidis got a free kick in the 40th minute. Conny Stober hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Livathinos in the 42nd minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Dietrich Heppner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Charis Malezas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dietrich Heppner. The goal made the score 2-0. Alwin Korte hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th play minute Koulis Kouloucheris came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dietrich Heppner. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

3-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Conny Stober elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Charis Malezas put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dietrich Heppner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marinos Katsiaros in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dietrich Heppner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 played minutes Kerkyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Theofilos Tripitsidis. Academica Pulheim's Jacek Thierse was substituted for Julius Mulack. In the 76th minute, Theofilos Tripitsidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dietrich Heppner came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkyra FC's Takis Kanavidis. But to his dismay, Takis Kanavidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Takis Kanavidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dietrich Heppner having to interfere. Kerkyra FC's Giorgos Maragozis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Anzengruber in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Livathinos came free, but Dietrich Heppner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexis Maras kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
