Spectators: 7985 (Terracing: 5990, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) Ferruccio Del Greco made the kick off and thus started the match. Traian Robu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Schiacciacasse in the 3rd minute of the match. If Felice Schiacciacasse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Traian Robu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferruccio Del Greco went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Biagio Pantano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Corlățean in the 10th minute of the match. Ferruccio Del Greco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Traian Robu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Biagio Pantano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horea Bodnar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Biagio Pantano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Măliță in the 18th minute of play. Muget's Alexandru Corlățean couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Glasgow Rangers FC. Biagio Pantano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Bodnar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Felice Schiacciacasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Robu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Măliță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Felice Schiacciacasse fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glasgow Rangers FC's protests and gave Felice Schiacciacasse a yellow card for diving instead. Felice Schiacciacasse kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Măliță in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Pantano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Glasgow Rangers FC's Arturo Vitucci was substituted for Bruno Bravo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radu Măliță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Dino Nicolai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glasgow Rangers FC and the Muget players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dino Nicolai hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Biagio Pantano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Bodnar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandru Corlățean hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Muget's Radu Măliță got a free kick in the 70th minute. Glasgow Rangers FC's Emanuele Moretta was substituted for Ciro Trombetta. After 72 played minutes Glasgow Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Felice Schiacciacasse. When Ferruccio Del Greco came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Glasgow Rangers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Del Greco couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Venditti came free, but Traian Robu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Ştefan Coman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glasgow Rangers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
