Dino Nicolai's late challenge caught a FC Kurdistan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Nicolai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute of the match Olov Vallengren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biagio Pantano skillfully saved the ball. In the 7th match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Öberg to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg got control of the ball when Dennis Lio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes in the game, Felice Schiacciacasse fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mats Elg having to interfere. In the 19th minute Alfons Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Pantano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felice Schiacciacasse, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Glasgow Rangers FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alex Salerno hit a great ball. Biagio Pantano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Bonjour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes Glasgow Rangers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olov Vallengren who took care of the corner kick. Olov Vallengren made a great header on FC Kurdistan's corner, it was just that Glasgow Rangers FC's Biagio Pantano managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg got control of the ball when Ferruccio Del Greco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glasgow Rangers FC's Biagio Pantano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Bonjour in the 33rd minute of play. Biagio Pantano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Öberg in the 39th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferruccio Del Greco made a kick off. Alfons Öberg hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Glasgow Rangers FC's Biagio Pantano got control of the ball when Napoleon Bonjour tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute Ferruccio Del Greco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Glasgow Rangers FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Napoleon Bonjour fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dennis Lio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Christian Wik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Biagio Pantano. Christian Wik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 74 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Del Greco came free, but Mats Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Nicolai in the 75th minute of the match. Biagio Pantano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaj Lundkvist went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Biagio Pantano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Napoleon Bonjour. In the 81st minute Alvise De Leonardis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Kurdistan's Napoleon Bonjour in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glasgow Rangers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mats Elg came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Glasgow Rangers FC's Dino Nicolai. But to his dismay, Dino Nicolai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Glasgow Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise De Leonardis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Kurdistan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
