Hans-Cees Ricksen started the match with the kick off. When Sidoro Romeu fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Sidoro Romeu a yellow card for diving instead. Estevez Lavega hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Cees Ricksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Piearres Somiedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Hendrik Weken was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Albertus FC defense, Piearres Somiedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Hendrik Weken. The Albertus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Hendrik Weken should have stopped the shot. Jan Hendrik Weken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevez Lavega, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Piearres Somiedo hit a great ball. Nardo Tuo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Hendrik Weken came out and tried to block the shot, but Nardo Tuo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. Guillen Ubiña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Cees Ricksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Estevez Lavega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Hendrik Weken was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Albertus FC made a substitution. Frits Platvoet replaced Hubert Ottens.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Estevez Lavega to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nardo Tuo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Nardo Tuo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Nardo Tuo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Hans-Cees Ricksen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guillen Ubiña. The goal made the score 4-1. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña got control of the ball when Hans-Cees Ricksen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Buceo were furious when Sengrat Vid was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting Buceo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Sporting Buceo:s Guillen Ubiña showed great skill when he stopped Hans-Cees Ricksen:s penalty. In the 64th minute, Hans-Cees Ricksen made a precise shot to the right of Guillen Ubiña. Sporting Buceo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Hans-Cees Ricksen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Guillen Ubiña made a huge save. 68 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Albertus FC's Hans-Cees Ricksen fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Christijan van Asseldonk struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Guillen Ubiña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. In the 75th minute Christijan van Asseldonk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Ubiña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piearres Somiedo's late challenge caught a Albertus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piearres Somiedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piearres Somiedo to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joeri Buys in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xarles Gadañon in the 89th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Weken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 100th minute, Albertus FC's Joeri Buys dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-3. Sporting Buceo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
