Francana's Armando Orlando got a free kick in the 13th minute. Alejo Carlomagno took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Cassia. Wilson Cassia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Alejo Carlomagno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Cassia was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Joel Umea made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ruy Fantini sent off a good shot on target. Elpidio Raebert hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's Cido Vinhas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, A.A. After 39 minutes, Alejo Carlomagno made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. A.A. Francana's Wilson Cassia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Cassia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Carlomagno in the 45th minute of play. When Armando Orlando fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A. Francana's protests and gave Armando Orlando a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Armando Orlando got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejo Carlomagno made a kick off. A.A. Francana's Wilson Cassia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Carlomagno in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Francana's zone, Alejo Carlomagno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Cassia came out of the goal and Alejo Carlomagno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Carlomagnos short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Wilson Cassia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Alejo Carlomagno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Wilson Cassia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson Cassia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Carlomagno in the 73rd minute of the match. Eulalio Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Cassia having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Eulalio Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Gallos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Carlomagno in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Cassia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Cassia was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Alejo Carlomagno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alejo Carlomagno really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Primitivo Chago hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Bertran got free with Wilson Cassia in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Cassia made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Silverio Bertran sent off a good shot on target. The A.A. Francana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Gallos's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Gallos.
