Spectators: 8045 (Terracing: 6035, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Gerrie Kuijsten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Hub van Loo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bozhidar Kishev was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Gerrie Kuijsten notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of DOROSTOL Ss's Bozhidar Kishev. Bozhidar Kishev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serge Buring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafail Grashev in the 9th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Rafail Grashev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ágætis Byrjun's Serge Buring was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Kiril Kratunkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DOROSTOL Ss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiril Kratunkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serge Buring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiril Kratunkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes Ágætis Byrjun's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hristofor Zhelev who took care of the corner kick. Hristofor Zhelev made a great header on DOROSTOL Ss's corner, it was just that Ágætis Byrjun's Serge Buring managed to reach the ball for a save. After 42 played minutes DOROSTOL Ss got a freekick which was hit by Zhan Banovski. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafail Grashev made a kick off. Serge Buring was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Kiril Kratunkov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kiril Kratunkov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Henny Stam got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Hristofor Zhelev managed to get in a good position for a shot. DOROSTOL Ss's supporters rose to their feet, but Hristofor Zhelev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serge Buring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ágætis Byrjun booed when DOROSTOL Ss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boncho Fakirov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gerrie Kuijsten put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bozhidar Kishev. In the 67th minute, Kiril Kratunkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ágætis Byrjun's Mathijs Looze was substituted for Marcus Zaagman. In the 69th minute, Victor Zethof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bozhidar Kishev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hub van Loo in the 71st minute of play. Serge Buring was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Kiril Kratunkov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kiril Kratunkov really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 81st minute Mirko Kielstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bozhidar Kishev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hub van Loo fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ágætis Byrjun's protests and gave Hub van Loo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Hub van Loo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to DOROSTOL Ss getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rafail Grashev hit a great ball. Henny Stam hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. DOROSTOL Ss's Bozhidar Kishev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hub van Loo in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Ágætis Byrjun's Mathijs Looze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bozhidar Kishev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. A collision led to DOROSTOL Ss getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Yanislav Nochev hit a great ball. Victor Zethof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
