The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Inmortales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Cage didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes, Hector Hollandsworth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inmortales FC and the Vanadio F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honrio Izarra in the 8th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Honrio Izarra made a precise shot to the right of Cristopher Herndon. Inmortales FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A hard shot by Larry Colby from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Argoitz Bustelo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 20th minute Wesley Cage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argoitz Bustelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argoitz Bustelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Cage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montrell Sojo in the 26th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristopher Herndon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honrio Izarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mike Clinton hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Mike Clinton made the kick off in the second half. Argoitz Bustelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Rey in the 57th minute of play. Inmortales FC's Tim Schaffer got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Mike Clinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argoitz Bustelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argoitz Bustelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Cage in the 67th minute of play. That made the score 2-4 after 90 minutes of play. 94 minutes into the match, Jakobe Castañeda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristopher Herndon, 2-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vanadio F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
