In the 9th minute, Cucu Milo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boncho Zhilev in the 10th minute of play forced Lucky Star's goalkeeper Ayi Sinuraya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Boncho Zhilev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ayi Sinuraya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute of the match, Roni Latul tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dobrin Beremov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th minute, Cucu Milo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucky Star fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herman Ngantuk got free with Dobrin Beremov in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herman Ngantuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nano Mitrashkov in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ayi Sinuraya, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ayi Sinuraya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boncho Zhilev, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Boncho Zhilev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ayi Sinuraya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nedyalko Berberov hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. DARAS's Gavril Bratovanov was substituted for Grisha Dragulev. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Nedyalko Berberov got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nano Mitrashkov to maneuver through the defense. The DARAS fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when DARAS's Kostadin Mazhdrakov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. John Darusman charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Darusman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of DARAS booed when Lucky Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Darusman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Nano Mitrashkov. DARAS made a substitution. Gergin Bogoev replaced Rumen Dzhananov. Nano Mitrashkov hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ayi Sinuraya made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Kostadin Mazhdrakov sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DARAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
