Alain Etxeberria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Tinoco having to interfere. Lucas Marcos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Luz in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dinamita on Grass's goalkeeper Lucas Marcos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Romualdo Ucero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Tinoco skillfully saved the ball. After 15 played minutes Dinamita on Grass got a freekick which was hit by Feliu Darroja. Lucas Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Claudinho Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merusca F&P's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romualdo Ucero to make the kick off. Merusca F&P's Agnaldo Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliu Darroja in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Aureo Bajo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Dinamita on Grass fans cheered their team off the field, for while Merusca F&P had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
