Artur Abreu's late challenge caught a Büyükada Commandos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Mustafa İzzet Başeski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Büyükada Commandos's goalkeeper Alişan Evvel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Bezerra. The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when Büyükada Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihangir Turatekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merusca F&P's Carlos Fernando Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Büyükada Commandos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merusca F&P.
