After 4 minutes, Jean-Sébastien Beauchet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Sociedad and the Wy-pas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Sociedad's Jean-Sébastien Beauchet got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Witalis Zecman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Ginola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Kasprzak went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Wlodzimierz Golec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Jean-Sébastien Beauchet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Lamine Turbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 43 minutes, Gaël Moutard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Sociedad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaël Moutard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gaël Moutard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Sociedad's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaël Moutard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radowit Bielenda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wy-pas made a substitution. Roman Majkowski replaced Zachary Snaza. Wy-pas's Wojciech Jeziorkowski was substituted for Dominik Kasprzak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul-Émile Halgand in the 59th minute of play forced Wy-pas's goalkeeper Radowit Bielenda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radowit Bielenda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul-Émile Halgand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61stth minute of the game Gaël Moutard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wy-pas's Radowit Bielenda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miromir Czeberowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wladyslaw Wojno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Ginola having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Wy-pas's goal looked a bit too open when Gaël Moutard came free, but Radowit Bielenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roman Majkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaël Moutard struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Radowit Bielenda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Sociedad. 81 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Czeberowski came free, but Marco Ginola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miromir Czeberowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Witalis Zecman from a close distance when the talented Marco Ginola managed to make a qualified save. Real Sociedad's players were relieved. Marco Ginola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Jeziorkowski in the 89th minute of the match. Gaël Moutard charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaël Moutard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witalis Zecman got free with Marco Ginola in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wy-pas played a much better game than Real Sociedad and deserved their victory. The Real Sociedad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
