Spectators: 8071 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) Jânio Guimarães started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Artaldo. Romário Ceresso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 5 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Jenaro. When Júnior da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Romário Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Bras having to interfere. Rogelio Jenaro charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Jenaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Jorginho Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarlet Speedster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gavino Bras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Guimarães in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jorginho Peres sped through Yaji FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavino Bras. Dudu de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Jenaro in the 33rd minute of play. Yaji FC's Gavino Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Guimarães in the 39th minute of play. Gavino Bras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 47th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Estefan to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Scarlet Speedster's Romário Ceresso tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Izel was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jorginho Peres made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Bras. Yaji FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorginho Peres got free with Gavino Bras in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Paiva during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Scarlet Speedster's zone, Eduardo Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu de Toledo came out of the goal and Eduardo Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cecilio Izel hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes, Scarlet Speedster's Júnior da Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavino Bras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scarlet Speedster reached it. Melchor Estefan hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Romário Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Jânio Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaji FC's Gavino Bras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Scarlet Speedster getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Júnior da Fonseca hit a great ball. Melchor Estefan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dudu de Toledo. Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jânio Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scarlet Speedster's Narciso Bueno was substituted for Romário Ceresso. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Rogelio Jenaro got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Francesco during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narciso Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gavino Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Salvador Oxarra got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cristóvão Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gavino Bras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scarlet Speedster. Leonardo Pombal had several of the Yaji FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Gavino Bras as he didn't even see the shot coming.
