Berbiz Iruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romário Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Scarlet Speedster's players had a chance to rest. In the 18th minute, Jânio Guimarães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarlet Speedster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dudu de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monkiewicz Gay in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's Lino Paiva got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Urko Fortuño fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's protests and gave Urko Fortuño a yellow card for diving instead. Urko Fortuño hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Berbiz Iruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Berbiz Iruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's Lino Paiva got a free kick in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Monkiewicz Gay put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dudu de Toledo. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Gay was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Gay in the 51st minute of play forced Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Dudu de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berbiz Iruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES got a freekick which was hit by Jaunzuria Azpeitia. Berbiz Iruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's Jânio Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berbiz Iruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaunzuria Azpeitia got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Scarlet Speedster made a substitution. Cafu Toledo replaced Jânio Martins. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Peres in the 72nd minute of play forced 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's goalkeeper Berbiz Iruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Mantzio Berges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scarlet Speedster the free kick. 74 minutes into the game, one of 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Berbiz Iruz had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Romário Ceresso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Scarlet Speedster's Romário Ceresso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Ostadar Segarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Gay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Dudu de Toledo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Scarlet Speedster.
