The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chu Tasso in the 3rd minute. After having played for 4 minutes, Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FV Wienerwald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jailson Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a huge save. After 11 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Brito. In the 15th minute, Jörg Wipplinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider came free, but Vânderson Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vânderson Esteves. Lobo Guará's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vânderson Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Ternes in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Pedro Luiz Simões got a free kick in the 26th minute. Norman-Alexander Wellmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorginho Munhoz's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chu Tasso got free with Norman-Alexander Wellmann in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lobo Guará in the 36th minute of play forced FV Wienerwald's goalkeeper Norman-Alexander Wellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chu Tasso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norman-Alexander Wellmann came out and tried to block the shot, but Chu Tasso slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. Norman-Alexander Wellmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With 42 minutes on the clock, Maurício Vianna commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 44th minute Björn Gottschling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chu Tasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norman-Alexander Wellmann. FV Wienerwald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiaguinho de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lobo Guará's Vânderson Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Ternes in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Jailson Batista made a precise shot to the right of Norman-Alexander Wellmann. FV Wienerwald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Dário Lima replaced Pedro Luiz Simões. Gregor Rühmann kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Lobo Guará's Chu Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norman-Alexander Wellmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 75th minute, Jörg Wipplinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lobo Guará's zone, Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Esteves came out of the goal and Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Leão to maneuver through the defense. Tommi Braun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Vânderson Esteves made a huge save. Harald Delb hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Glauco Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The long shot by Björn Gottschling in the 84th minute really tested Vânderson Esteves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lobo Guará fully deserved thier win.
