After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Segundo Peyo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Angel Maureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 7 minutes on the clock, Segundo Peyo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Martin Palermo F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! Angel Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Cleto Florinio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAM Football Club's Aquilino Gustau got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Flavio Lope got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Clemencin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, CAM Football Club's Carmelo Aresti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Carmelo Aresti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcial Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the CAM Football Club defense, Filomeno Dino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Orlin. The CAM Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Orlin should have stopped the shot. With his leg Marcial Clemencin managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when CAM Football Club's Carmelo Aresti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of CAM Football Club booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. CAM Football Club's Aquilino Gustau got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Gustau in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Clemencin saved Martin Palermo F.C. from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Gustau was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CAM Football Club's zone, Flavio Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Orlin came out of the goal and Flavio Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Nestor Lertxun got a free kick in the 56th minute. Aquilino Gustau scored 3-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Clemencin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ubaldo Sanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CAM Football Club's Eduardo Frisco was substituted for Cleto Florinio. Angel Maureo, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edgard Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Nestor Lertxun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaudencio Orlin was a little too slow when Nestor Lertxun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 3-2. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Flavio Lope got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcial Clemencin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaudencio Orlin came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Martin Palermo F.C.'s Ubaldo Sanson. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Sanson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
