Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Patrick Cunha got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Phelipe Escarza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernando Pitta. In the 3rd minute, Eduardo Lezarreta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Classe A Futebol Clube's zone, Desire Remirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiliam Favoretto came out of the goal and Desire Remirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Desire Remirez came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desire Remirez couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Patrick Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phelipe Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Ongile Reguer came free, but Wiliam Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ongile Reguer in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiliam Favoretto saved Classe A Futebol Clube from getting behind. After 18 minutes, Rayman Munibe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Popolizio FBC and the Classe A Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Rayman Munibe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiliam Favoretto came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Ongile Reguer. But to his dismay, Ongile Reguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Phelipe Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Cunha in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorginho Félix who took care of the corner kick. 32 minutes into the match, Classe A Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Ardines came free, but Wiliam Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Kléber Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elodio Heras lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 42 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Elodio Heras. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Popolizio FBC's zone, Jorginho Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phelipe Escarza came out of the goal and Jorginho Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Cunha in the 46th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Phelipe Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Ramiro Fonseca got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when Classe A Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Lima came free, but Phelipe Escarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phelipe Escarza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Váldson Mazza's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Mateus Ardines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Cunha in the 68th minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Phelipe Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phelipe Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Gernando Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phelipe Escarza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Wiliam Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desire Remirez in the 87th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus Ardines during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Mateus Ardines hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Ardines.
