The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oscar Olmos charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Olmos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Olmos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Calistrat Vulcan kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Oscar Olmos hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, The Huns's Tudor Șeimeanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Saturnino Troncoso hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Geantă to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Valdivia's late challenge caught a The Huns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Valdivia helped the player get up and apologised. 15 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Șeimeanu came free, but Patxi Aizpuru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Tudor Șeimeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patxi Aizpuru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Claudiu Geantă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Patxi Aizpuru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Geantă might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patxi Aizpuru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudiu Geantă ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Ignea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudiu Geantă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patxi Aizpuru came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudiu Geantă slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. Calistrat Vulcan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patxi Aizpuru. Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inter de Chillán's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Tudor Șeimeanu scored to the left of an out of position Patxi Aizpuru, making the score, 4-0. Patxi Aizpuru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Șeimeanu in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, The Huns's Emilian Ignea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patxi Aizpuru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a little luck, Inter de Chillán's Patxi Aizpuru got control of the ball when Claudiu Geantă tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Tudor Șeimeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patxi Aizpuru. Inter de Chillán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Șeimeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 46 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Patxi Aizpuru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudiu Geantă. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Valdivia to make the kick off. Basilio Dragicevic kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Emilian Ignea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, The Huns's Tudor Șeimeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patxi Aizpuru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 68 minutes, Emilian Ignea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Huns and the Inter de Chillán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Huns's Emilian Ignea got a free kick in the 68th minute. Inter de Chillán's Gustavo Solezzi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sandu Ţopescu but with some difficulty. Patxi Aizpuru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Șeimeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Vulcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, The Huns's Calistrat Vulcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patxi Aizpuru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Tudor Șeimeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patxi Aizpuru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Claudiu Geantă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Patxi Aizpuru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tudor Șeimeanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patxi Aizpuru having to make a save. In the 91st minute, one of Inter de Chillán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter de Chillán. The referee gave The Huns a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudiu Geantă, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inter de Chillán's Patxi Aizpuru. 10-0. Patxi Aizpuru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Șeimeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that The Huns were the better team. The Huns's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
