In the 9th minute, Alex Kalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Sergo Lepp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lα Sυв 21 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vila's Sergo Lepp got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Blas Cerilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Poom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Clemente Pes fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lα Sυв 21's protests and gave Clemente Pes a yellow card for diving instead. Mart Poom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Giro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vila's zone, Fernan Giro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mart Poom came out of the goal and Fernan Giro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kiur Aluste got free with Baldomero Bembe in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 played minutes Lα Sυв 21 got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Gombal. Kiur Aluste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Bembe having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaanek Vaher made a kick off. Fernan Giro took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mart Poom. Mart Poom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 62 minutes into the match, Vila's goalkeeper Mart Poom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Eztebe.
