In the 4th minute, FC Buzău's Cezar Jitaru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cezar Jitaru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Buzău protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cezar Jitaru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 5 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Kensicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ciprian Ghioane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Phantasy World getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sylwester Leper hit a great ball. Damian Lato's late challenge caught a FC Buzău's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Pisz in the 18th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Ciprian Ghioane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane got control of the ball when Sylwester Leper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Borubar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Zgondea in the 22nd minute of play. Ciprian Ghioane made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Daniel Scislowicz sent off a good shot on target. Phantasy World's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaroslaw Kensicki in the 31st minute. Sylwester Leper charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylwester Leper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jaroslaw Kensicki sped through FC Buzău's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciprian Ghioane. In the 77th minute, Grigore Hulubei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Nina Ko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0.
