Spectators: 8425 (Terracing: 6319, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jakob Söderman kicked off to start the match. Krister Vallander charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krister Vallander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronald Waterreus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Partridge in the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th play minute Pete Partridge came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ronald Waterreus. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Söderman in the 9th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Edward Preston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Holmgren came free, but Edward Preston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alistair Riley's late challenge caught a Älta BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alistair Riley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Alistair Riley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Älta BK's goalkeeper Ronald Waterreus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billie Curtis. Edward Preston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Holmgren in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Billie Curtis made a precise shot to the right of Ronald Waterreus. Älta BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 26 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Pete Partridge. In the 34thth minute of the game Jakob Söderman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Billie Curtis made the kick off in the second half. Jay Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ronald Waterreus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Jay Palmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Franz Hardcastle charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franz Hardcastle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Franz Hardcastle hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Jakob Söderman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Pete Partridge made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronald Waterreus was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Billie Curtis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ronald Waterreus was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Söderman in the 69th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Edward Preston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alistair Riley hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Edward Preston acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kent Ek. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Älta BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Sander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Pete Partridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Waterreus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradley Blueman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Palmer to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Kent Ek in the 91st minute really tested Edward Preston's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Älta BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
