John Guidetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fredrik Pilgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Digital Monsterz FC's zone, John Guidetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Pilgren came out of the goal and John Guidetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Askestät in the 12th minute of play forced Digital Monsterz FC's goalkeeper Fredrik Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Guidetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Pilgren having to interfere. Oliver Lindqvist's late challenge caught a Baxters Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Lindqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Digital Monsterz FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oliver Lindqvist hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Digital Monsterz FC's zone, John Guidetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Pilgren came out of the goal and John Guidetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, John Guidetti put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fredrik Pilgren. In the 23rd minute, Albin Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sven-Ove Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When John Guidetti got free in front of the goal in the 36th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fredrik Pilgren was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Digital Monsterz FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Filiph Ekström hit a great ball. After the first half Baxters Boys were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Digital Monsterz FC's Fredrik Pilgren got control of the ball when John Guidetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baxters Boys's Georg Lindberg was substituted for Sven-Ove Wickander. When John Guidetti, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fredrik Pilgren was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Maximilian Askestät took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Pilgren. Fredrik Pilgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. John Guidetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Pilgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Sebastian Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Bergström in the 87th minute of play. Digital Monsterz FC's Fredrik Pilgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Digital Monsterz FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when Digital Monsterz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by John Guidetti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Baxters Boys players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
