Wilian Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nestor Mogel made a huge save. After 14 minutes, Maicon de Amorim made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Piquirenda FC's Nestor Mogel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Montenegro came free, but Nestor Mogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Everardo Berenguer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Elias Emmanuel charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Emmanuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Emmanuel. With a little luck, Piquirenda FC's Nestor Mogel got control of the ball when Maicon de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Maicon de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Berenguer made a kick off. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piquirenda FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Jovens Democratas MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelio Urti took the corner. Piquirenda FC's Maximiliano Perutxo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edvaldo Costa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 74 minutes into the game, Everardo Berenguer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Edvaldo Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Emanuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match, Iker Vistruario got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvaldo Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Vistruario in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Maximiliano Toro replaced Saverio Benat. Iker Vistruario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Costa made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Iker Vistruario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquirenda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The Piquirenda FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
