Rômulo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Ionașcu in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Prata in the 8th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Emanuel Stanca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Darius Olaru. Daniel Alcântara succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Emanuel Stanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Paraibano in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Rocha. With a little luck, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida got control of the ball when Darius Olaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Darius Olaru got free in front of the goal in the 25th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rômulo de Almeida was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the match -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a corner. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liviu Răuţă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Liviu Răuţă to fire away a dangerous shot which Rômulo de Almeida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Liviu Răuţă managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Răuţă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rômulo de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rômulo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Șora in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Liviu Răuţă who took care of the corner kick. Emanuel Stanca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Grigore Biriș fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Barca de Buzau's protests and gave Grigore Biriș a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Șora to make the kick off. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Rafinha Sergipano hit a great ball. Rômulo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Ionașcu in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Isaltino Tande suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Darius Olaru charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darius Olaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Olaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Rafinha Sergipano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Stanca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques was substituted for Nilson Paraibano. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alberto Freire hit a great ball. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position.
