The referee showed Luis Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Romero hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Jaime Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Ionașcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 4 minutes, Darius Olaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Barca de Buzau and the Estrellas de Caballito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Crăiniceanu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Matias Montrelle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Stanca was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Anselmo Pitin made a great header on Estrellas de Caballito's corner, it was just that -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Stanca managed to reach the ball for a save. 13 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Montrelle came free, but Emanuel Stanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Pitin who took care of the corner kick. Ciriaco Eneko hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Primeiro in the 25th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Emanuel Stanca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Anselmo Pitin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Stanca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Stanca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Primeiro in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Matias Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrellas de Caballito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Montrelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Trapcea during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Estrellas de Caballito's Anselmo Pitin tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Ciriaco Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The wind increased when Manuel Șora made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match, Manuel Șora got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jaime Venceslao was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jaime Venceslao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Movileanu in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Basarab Achimescu hit a great ball. -BZF- Barca de Buzau made a substitution. Anton Otețea replaced Aurel Ionașcu. In the 60th minute, Basarab Achimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes, Estrellas de Caballito's Anselmo Pitin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Stanca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estrellas de Caballito reached it. In the 62nd minute Matias Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Stanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Matias Montrelle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Stanca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Primeiro came free, but Emanuel Stanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Estrellas de Caballito booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Achimescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Darius Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Venceslao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Ciriaco Eneko got a free kick in the 85th minute. Estrellas de Caballito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Basarab Achimescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gheorghe Crăiniceanu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the -BZF- Barca de Buzau defense, Luis Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Stanca. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Stanca should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Stanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Montrelle in the 93rd minute of play. Estrellas de Caballito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
