Daniel Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lambis Kastanas made a huge save. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Ålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Supreme FC's goalkeeper Lambis Kastanas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Alagoano. In the 76th minute, Per Stenqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Supreme FC made a substitution. Bengt Wiberg replaced Nils-Åke Eliasson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogério Alagoano in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lambis Kastanas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Frodo Baggins came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Stenqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Natanael Paraense made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frodo Baggins got free with Natanael Paraense in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Rogério Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lambis Kastanas was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Goiás Esporte Clube's Marcus Diniz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lambis Kastanas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
