The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goalkeeper András Horváth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Cordarrell. Lilian Montane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csongor Csorba, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes LE TALADRO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bob Lebœuf. LE TALADRO F.C's Lilian Montane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emánuel Hatvani in the 7th minute of play. Zula Bronder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, András Horváth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Csongor Csorba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LE TALADRO F.C's Lilian Montane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Cordarrell in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of András Horváth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 14 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Louison Gaulier came free, but András Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Louison Gaulier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of András Horváth, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Emánuel Hatvani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Szajk LC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zénó Polgár in the 26th minute. Szajk LC's Zalán Kovács got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, András Horváth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. András Horváth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zula Bronder in the 30th minute. András Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louison Gaulier in the 35th minute of the match. Martin Cordarrell scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of András Horváth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Csongor Csorba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lilian Montane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Árpád Konkoly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilian Montane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilian Montane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csongor Csorba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Louison Gaulier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Csongor Csorbas short, quick shot in the 50thth minute got Lilian Montane to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Szajk LC fans' excitement grew in the 50th match minute when Szajk LC's Csongor Csorba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Csongor Csorba got free with Lilian Montane in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csongor Csorba in the 55th minute of play forced LE TALADRO F.C's goalkeeper Lilian Montane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Csongor Csorba in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lilian Montane saved LE TALADRO F.C from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louison Gaulier in the 68th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper András Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LE TALADRO F.C's Jean-Cyrille Mbaegbu was substituted for Zula Bronder. Szajk LC made a substitution. Levente Makkai replaced Csongor Csorba. Szajk LC's Dávid Benkó was substituted for Zénó Polgár. Claude Arrault hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lilian Montane acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zsolt Nagy. In the 75th minute Martin Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes LE TALADRO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Bill Severens. A collision led to LE TALADRO F.C getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bill Severens hit a great ball. Lilian Montane made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Árpád Konkoly sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Dávid Benkó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lilian Montane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emánuel Hatvani, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a left leg Lilian Montane saved LE TALADRO F.C from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, LE TALADRO F.C's Louison Gaulier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that András Horváth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. LE TALADRO F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Szajk LC for a fine match.
