An unexpectedly hard shot by Cvetin Luković in the 7th minute of play forced AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Babür Kongurtay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 20th match minute, AKÇEŞMESPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songur Ünlüer to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the AKÇEŞMESPOR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
