MAZER SAF's Adriano Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 6th minute of play. Adriano Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Rigoberto Vilaprenyo sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes in the game, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Adriano Carneiro came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by RACING FBPA's Rigoberto Vilaprenyo. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Oscar Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Jorginho Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joélson Coutinho during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. When Lovis Kirsch fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RACING FBPA's protests and gave Lovis Kirsch a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RACING FBPA's Lovis Kirsch got a free kick in the 26th minute. Adriano Carneiro was a little too slow when Rigoberto Vilaprenyo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 31st minute Rômulo Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Rômulo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, RACING FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Berger came free, but Duarte Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RACING FBPA booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Vilaprenyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the game, RACING FBPA's Jorginho Campidelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

56 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Vilaprenyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Adriano Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the game, Marcelinho de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RACING FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAZER SAF the free kick. In the 58th match minute, RACING FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Vilaprenyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAZER SAF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rigoberto Vilaprenyo was slow to take the kick. During this time RACING FBPA's players had a chance to rest. RACING FBPA's Rigoberto Vilaprenyo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adriano Carneiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Adriano Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Garro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAZER SAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RACING FBPA the free kick. After 69 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Garro. Adriano Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 76th minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Adriano Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Campidelis in the 77th minute of the match. Adriano Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Borges in the 80th minute of play. In the 89th minute Jorginho Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Campidelis in the 91st minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Adriano Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magno Maranhense got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. RACING FBPA made a substitution. Iuri de Castro replaced Lovis Kirsch. In the 95th minute, Magno Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RACING FBPA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
