Aban McBjarton scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 余锋风, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aban McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. 余锋风 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Torrey Molloy took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for 余锋风 to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th minute, Ahmet Hakan Mahçupyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torrey Molloy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 余锋风 came out and tried to block the shot, but Torrey Molloy slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Ahmet Hakan Mahçupyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Niceto Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match Aban McBjarton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 余锋风 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Hakan Mahçupyan made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torrey Molloy in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 余锋风 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 余锋风 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The 1948 MKS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
