Severino Bruna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dedé Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedé Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gargollo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Ricardinho Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tifo Marinović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Tifo Marinović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Alvarenga in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Weidt in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tifo Marinović saved Obrero Barquisimeto from getting behind. HollywooDogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. HollywooDogs made a substitution. Lukasz Sidor replaced Ricardinho Alvarenga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Cardozo in the 74th minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Dedé Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HollywooDogs's Dedé Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Cardozo in the 77th minute of play. Dedé Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukasz Sidor scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tifo Marinović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Douglas de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco Ternero hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, HollywooDogs's Ronaldinho Lago tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of HollywooDogs booed when Obrero Barquisimeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Vasaburu didn't get a good kick on the ball. HollywooDogs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
