IFK Fölet's Dennis Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nixon Richard in the 4th minute of play. Sixten Fridlund hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Dennis Berg came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Barões F. C.'s Nixon Richard. But to his dismay, Nixon Richard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Nixon Richard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Berg was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nixon Richard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barões F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nixon Richard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Berg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nixon Richard in the 16th minute of play. Nixon Richard scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Berg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Fölet's goalkeeper Dennis Berg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nixon Richard in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júlio Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Örtendahl in the 27th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Luiz Fábio Souto made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Fölet's Dennis Berg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nixon Richard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Berg having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Berg having to interfere. Dennis Berg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nixon Richard in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Borcz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 96 minutes IFK Fölet's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Donato Paraibano who took care of the corner kick. Nixon Richard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Berg having to interfere. The Barões F. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barões F. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
