In the 9thth minute of the game Alejo Eleazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEGRITUDE FC's Marios Christodoulou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Schmidt in the 13th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's Alejo Eleazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marios Christodoulou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Marios Christodoulou managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Joga Bonito's Luo Wei Xi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marios Christodoulou was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alejo Eleazar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. Alejo Eleazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marios Christodoulou having to make a save. NEGRITUDE FC's Marios Christodoulou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save NEGRITUDE FC from getting a goal against them. Marios Christodoulou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejo Eleazar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marios Christodoulou. That made the score 5-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 48th minute, Joga Bonito's Luo Wei Xi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marios Christodoulou. Marios Christodoulou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Claudinho Porto made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Alejo Eleazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Marios Christodoulou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Ludomil Czaplicki got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Luo Wei Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Christodoulou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Alejo Eleazar made a precise shot to the right of Marios Christodoulou. NEGRITUDE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After 64 minutes of play, Joga Bonito's Luo Wei Xi made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marios Christodoulou was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 66 minutes, Inácio Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NEGRITUDE FC and the Joga Bonito players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marios Christodoulou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marios Christodoulou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luo Wei Xi in the 83rd minute of play. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Antunes in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, NEGRITUDE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Fontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Enrique Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
