Alfa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joga Bonito the free kick. Esteban Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Pedrinho de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludomil Czaplicki went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute of the match, Alejo Eleazar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedrinho de Queirós was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pedrinho de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Bemabe's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Joga Bonito were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Alfa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Bemabe took the corner. The supporters of Joga Bonito booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Eleazar got free with Pedrinho de Queirós in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joga Bonito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Bemabe in the 24th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Jean-Marc Hidalgo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that David Bemabe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho de Queirós was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bemabe in the 27th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrinho de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Eleazar in the 29th minute. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Alfa FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gogo Lesardo in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Boruc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Wiatrak in the 52nd minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Ludomil Czaplicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joga Bonito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Alejo Eleazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho de Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Eleazar came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Eleazar in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson de Souza in the 74th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Denílson de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joga Bonito's Ludomil Czaplicki in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When David Bemabe got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Pedrinho de Queirós was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Joga Bonito fully deserved thier win.
