In the 3rd minute, Zafran Chien-Kwan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Felin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Einar Felin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deivid de Salles went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Näfver during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Terra Scaniae's Oscar Näfver got a free kick in the 9th minute. Álvaro Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid de Salles in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einar Felin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chu Yun Lei might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Einar Felin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chu Yun Lei ran back to his position shaking his head. Catadão's Deivid de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Terra Scaniae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Näfver to maneuver through the defense. If Chu Yun Lei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Deivid de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einar Felin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Einar Felin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid de Salles in the 36th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Deivid de Salles notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Terra Scaniae's Einar Felin. Einar Felin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Catadão were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingmar Landin made a kick off. The supporters of Terra Scaniae booed when Catadão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joacim Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jardel Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Deivid de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Felin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catadão were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Terra Scaniae's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álvaro Godoi took the corner. The corner led Catadão's Hernani Pires to fire away a dangerous shot which Einar Felin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Deivid de Salles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Einar Felin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Deivid de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Einar Felin was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The supporters of Catadão booed when Terra Scaniae was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Dalkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Catadão's Deivid de Salles made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einar Felin was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid de Salles in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Einar Felin saved Terra Scaniae from getting behind. With his leg Einar Felin managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Catadão's Deivid de Salles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Catadão played a much better game than Terra Scaniae and deserved their victory. The Terra Scaniae players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
