With a little luck, Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley got control of the ball when Clemente Claude tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Goyeneta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Clemente Claude succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 27th playminute. Clemente Claude could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lonnie Hurley made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Collard in the 31st minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Goyeneta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Key Biscayne FC's Genaro Knutson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Clemente Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Key Biscayne FC's Lonnie Hurley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Key Biscayne FC from getting a goal against them. Lonnie Hurley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clemente Claude showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Sebastian Cresenciano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lonnie Hurley. The goal made the score 3-1. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georges Collard to strike the kick off in the second half. Georges Collard in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Goyeneta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Ramon Dacio replaced Leon Eguzki. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Enzo Julian got a free kick in the 58th minute. Key Biscayne FC's Carlo Bloom shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Carlos Goyeneta but with some difficulty. Erasmo Sansone's late challenge caught a Key Biscayne FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Sansone helped the player get up and apologised. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charro Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charro Moreno in the 84th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Key Biscayne FC's Dustin Burton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Goyeneta. Carlos Goyeneta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3.
