The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dênis Laguna was a little too slow when Edelmiro Senin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Senin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dênis Laguna. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Senin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Bican Lebib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Adolfo Garcia in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Edelmiro Senin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Dênis Laguna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC MIDWAY were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ron Staarman took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ron Staarman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dênis Laguna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Tenha Dó Dó Dó booed when FC MIDWAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Olmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Senin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Dênis Laguna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edelmiro Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Dênis Laguna got control of the ball when Edelmiro Senin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Senin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Tenha Dó Dó Dó got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Dombroski. In the 51st minute Edelmiro Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Laguna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Senin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dênis Laguna having to make a save. 53 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Senin came free, but Dênis Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bican Lebib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Tenha Dó Dó Dó made a substitution. Marconi Røvik replaced José Paulo de Castro. In the 74th minute Edelmiro Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Laguna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ron Staarman was slow to take the kick. During this time FC MIDWAY's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC MIDWAY's corner Ron Staarman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dênis Laguna quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Edelmiro Senin sped through Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dênis Laguna. After a rather tough play, FC MIDWAY's Antonello Olmi got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Edelmiro Senin came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC MIDWAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Senin couldn't finish the play. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Dênis Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Senin in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ron Staarman was slow to take the kick. During this time FC MIDWAY's players had a chance to rest. 91 minutes into the match, FC MIDWAY's Edelmiro Senin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dênis Laguna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Adolfo Garcia struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Bican Lebib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tenha Dó Dó Dó. 95 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Senin came free, but Dênis Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Senin scored 9-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dênis Laguna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC MIDWAY's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
