Mayo's Alexander Bird played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Barbosu in the 24th minute of play. Alexander Bird took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Macarie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Bird made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Macarie in the 29th minute of play. Alexander Bird showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Barbosu in the 32nd minute of the match. Guido Pagomari's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cheng De Jing firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of GoldDiam V55 booed when Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes GoldDiam V55 got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Arnăutu. 43 minutes into the match, GoldDiam V55's goalkeeper Cheng De Jing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Robins. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliodor Barbosu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alex Burton came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Mayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Burton couldn't finish the play. After 51 played minutes GoldDiam V55 got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Barbosu. Cheng De Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, GoldDiam V55's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Pagomari came free, but Cheng De Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheng De Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Burton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Mayo's Nathanial Pitts to fire away a dangerous shot which Cheng De Jing despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Moise Marinescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alexander Bird made a huge save. Mayo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Moise Marinescu scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Bird, making the score, 2-2. When Mayo's Alex Burton in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GoldDiam V55's goalie prevented a goal. Des Gill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheng De Jing having to interfere. With a little luck, Mayo's Alexander Bird got control of the ball when Eliodor Barbosu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cheng De Jing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. GoldDiam V55's Cheng De Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Des Gill in the 94th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
