In the 13th minute AZURDUY F.C. were awarded a corner. Károly Bogdán went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sun Feng Chen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hílton Magalhães quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tom Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Magalhães having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Hermansson in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Magalhães saved Botinho FC from getting behind. Ivo Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Iigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Teodosio Iigo managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Botinho FC's Marco Nóbrega fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd minute Niclas Füllkrug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Tom Hermansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tom Hermansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Magalhães having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tom Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Nóbrega made a kick off. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Füllkrug, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Tom Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 52 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Hermansson. AZURDUY F.C.'s Vinicio Venceslao managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilian Breckenfeld in the 55 minute of the game. AZURDUY F.C.'s Arnaldo Ostots was substituted for Sun Feng Chen. In a very dangerous position, a player in Botinho FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Botinho FC:s Hílton Magalhães showed great skill when he stopped Tom Hermansson:s penalty. Tom Hermansson in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hílton Magalhães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Hermansson got free with Hílton Magalhães in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilian Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Füllkrug came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Hermansson. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Károly Bogdán in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Botinho FC's Cássio Sá got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Ivo Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AZURDUY F.C. the free kick. Ivo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Tom Hermansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Hílton Magalhães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tom Hermanssons short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Hílton Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 96 minutes, Tom Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Tom Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AZURDUY F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
