Carlo Amadei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francis Stuart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carlo Amadei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Nascimento in the 18th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Chinto Espinoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tino Abeijon in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Amadei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sportivo Chupeño's Chinto Espinoza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Chupeño from getting a goal against them. Tino Abeijon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Amadei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chupeño's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Frederik came free, but Chinto Espinoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Tino Abeijons short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Carlo Amadei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sportivo Chupeño had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
