André Guimarães might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Guimarães ran back to his position shaking his head. Cássio da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Manaus FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Henrique Ramos hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Wiliam Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio da Mata. Cássio da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, André Guimarães notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Manaus FC's Cássio da Mata. Cássio da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Mandrak made a kick off. Cássio da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Wiliam Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio da Mata was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. André Guimarães succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-10. 64 minutes into the game, Wiliam Perez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cássio da Mata. Wiliam Perez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Ramiro Tavares replaced João Marcos. Vivaldo Porto made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fernando Mandrak. The supporters of Atlético Capixaba booed when Manaus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felippe Fonseca scored 0-13 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Felippe Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Cássio da Mata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vivaldo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Felippe Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Cássio da Mata made a huge save. With a little luck, Manaus FC's Cássio da Mata got control of the ball when André Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Manaus FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Capixaba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
