The corner led BK Nerysminne's Hector Levi to fire away a dangerous shot which Aden Couzens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 10 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Corbett Alonso. 11 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Gogea came free, but Aden Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Gulliksson struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Aden Couzens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Nerysminne. When BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elderslie Magpies's goalie prevented a goal. Steven Chaptal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aden Couzens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Gulliksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neal Weatherby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rick Souness could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Betinho Arantes made a huge save. With a little luck, BK Nerysminne's Betinho Arantes got control of the ball when Rick Souness tried to sneak it across the goal line. BK Nerysminne's Betinho Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Chaptal in the 32nd minute of play. When BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 41 minutes, Steven Chaptal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elderslie Magpies and the BK Nerysminne players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Steven Chaptal. 42 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Gogea came free, but Aden Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxim Gogea took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aden Couzens. Aden Couzens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 47th match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Chaptal to maneuver through the defense.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Chaptal to make the kick off. Elderslie Magpies's Aden Couzens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Gulliksson in the 52nd minute of play. Betinho Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neal Weatherby, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Andy Gulliksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aden Couzens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Gogea in the 58th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxim Gogea might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aden Couzens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Gogea ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Gogea in the 70th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Etxekopar in the 71st minute of the match. Maxim Gogea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Aden Couzens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aden Couzens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Gogea in the 74th minute of play. Maxim Gogea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aden Couzens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maxim Gogea 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 85th minute, Mark Era hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Steven Chaptal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match, Andy Gulliksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aden Couzens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andy Gulliksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aden Couzens having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Maxim Gogea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aden Couzens. That made the score 0-3 in the 91 minute of play. Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maxim Gogea 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. The Elderslie Magpies supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BK Nerysminne's performance. The match ended with a win for BK Nerysminne.
